It was during that time she felt her true calling to this ministry. Being obedient to God’s calling, her family moved to the Beaumont area which led her to work for Forest-Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home and eventually Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. As seasons come to an end, God called her family back home to Pampa. Alana became a partner in the funeral home in January 2015 and took sole ownership of Winegeart Funeral Home in July 2015. Following her move back home, she became a proud and active member in this community and has been involved in many different capacities. She is a member of Pampa Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Association, Rotary Club, Order of the Eastern Star, and attends Briarwood Church. She is also active in community events such as the Epilepsy Stroll and The Pride of Pampa Band Carnival put on each year.
In the little bit of spare she has, Alana enjoys camping, hunting, cooking, gardening and spending quality time with her family. Alana’s vision is to minister to the families of Pampa and the surrounding areas. This is not just a job to her, but a calling to show love, compassion and dedication to the families dealing with the heartbreak of losing their loved ones. She is well versed in the planning and pre-planning of funeral services. Alana and her staff work very hard to go above and beyond for the families we serve and give great attention to detail and the utmost respect when it comes to celebrating the lives of those who passed on.
